ARTSTAL becomes another beneficiary of Invest in Pomerania 2020 grant programme

ARTSTAL S.C. Andrzej Regliński, Piotr Regliński from Somonino became the next beneficiary of the ‘Invest in Pomerania 2020’ grant competition. The obtained funding of nearly 800 000 PLN will help in the revitalisation of the land and facilities after the former poultry slaughterhouse. In its place, a modern warehouse facility will be built, supporting the company’s growing customer base.

ARTSTAL, established in 1995, is primarily engaged in the manufacture and installation of internal and external balustrades. In addition, its product range includes fences, gates, steel constructions for the construction industry, furniture with elements of artistic forging and services for other businesses, such as powder coating and shotblasting. From the beginning, its headquarters have been located in Somonino.

Due to the planned growth of our company, new storage space became extremely necessary. Thanks to the grant we received, we will be able to clean up, level and equip the investment area. These steps will be followed by the construction of a storage yard. ARTSTAL’s activities and achievements to date show that the company is going in the right direction and we intend to develop it continuously – says Andrzej Regliński, one of the owners of ARTSTAL.

The works will cover an area of approximately 1.4 ha, and the total costs have been estimated at around  2.6 million PLN. As a result, the company plans to employ an additional 11 people.

Pomerania invests in its future

The project will be implemented with the help of European funds. Invest in Pomerania initiative, coordinated by the Pomerania Development Agency, is responsible for supporting the development of industrial and warehousing projects by entrepreneurs from the SME sector. ‘Invest in Pomerania 2020’ grant competition is one of the elements of the implementation of the economic development strategy for the Pomeranian voivodeship, in the part concerning attracting foreign investment and support for industrial and warehousing activity in its area. ARTSTAL is the 18th beneficiary to receive funds for the development of its activities. It is estimated that a total of 20 entrepreneurs, who will invest approximately 60 million PLN in Pomerania, will receive support within the allocation for the grant competition. Cumulative support from European funds will amount to approximately 16 million PLN.

Better conditions for development in the Pomeranian Voivodeship and raising the living standards of local communities are the main objectives of the project. ‘Invest in Pomerania 2020’ supports not only the creation of new investment areas, but also an increase in the number of jobs. Using EU funds, we enable investors to implement ambitious projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the region – concludes Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship.
