Sony Pictures Entertainment Global Finance and Accounting Division is currently defining its roadmap to transform the organization from a Line of Business and territory orientation to one which is global, enterprise-based, focusing on process improvement, standardization, reducing complexity and the use of technology. The global team\u2019s objectives are to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall team while enhancing the value and accessibility of the data created by the accounting processes which will enable the commercial teams to drive toward greater revenue growth and margin improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brand new Sony Pictures Global Financial\nOperations EMEA entity in Poland will play an integral role in helping guide\nthe transformation of SPE\u2019s Finance and Accounting organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nresponsibilities of the new team will include, but not be limited to: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– working with Hub colleagues in\nestablishing a viable and sustainable working outsource model with our partner,\nCapgemini, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– play a pivotal role in defining\nboth the operational and strategic elements of that relationship, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– maintain a global perspective to\nensure that the evolving Finance Division always takes into consideration the\nbroadest aspects of every challenge and opportunity we encounter <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– be a member of the team who own\nSPE\u2019s financial systems and is responsible for developing a roadmap to\nrationalize our current landscape from a federation of bespoke applications\ninto one that is more efficient and harmonized across our differing business\nmodels leveraging state of art technology platforms which will support SPE well\ninto the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new\norganization led by Artur Gronkiewicz, SPE\u2019s long-serving Accounting Leader and\nfinance expert, is based in Gdynia, Poland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sony Pictures Global Financial Operations EMEA team constitutes of a group of very experienced accounting subject-matter experts with superb track record experience in supporting SPE\u2019s EMEA territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
