We are proud to announce the 2020 edition of the state of the Business Services Sector (BSS) sector in the Tricity. The report contains a comprehensive analysis of the sector, trends, challenges and future forecast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n


\nThe analysis prepared by experts from Invest in Pomerania is based on research and a survey participated in by most of the Centers in the 3cITy. The report is a great read to understand how the sector works and what makes Pomerania so attractive<\/strong> in terms of location, infrastructure, talent availability and lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talking about the sector, the report details the number of languages spoken in the sector, the country of origin for the investment and of course the composition of the sector. Of the 158 <\/strong>Business Services Centers\u00a0in the 3cITy, 64% are IT and R&D centers and employ more than 51% of the workforce.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the report, 2019 has been a milestone year for the BSS as it crossed a record 30,000 employees <\/strong>. This fivefold growth from 2011 makes it a de facto driving force of the economy, and this is having an increasing impact on the image of the sector. Services also constitute one of the pillars of the economy\u2019s international competitiveness. In the context of the need for transformations in line with the paradigms of Industry 4.0, the role of this sector is already significant and may grow further.<\/span><\/p>\n

The report, aimed at anyone interested in the sector, also talks about factors that boost the attractiveness of the region<\/strong>. Factors which include the availability of talent, the further developing infrastructure, the availability of office and residential space, of course, the quality of life and the government support offered by Invest in Pomerania.<\/span><\/p>\n
