Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza S.A. is announcing a call for applications for grants in the form of repayable assistance awarded for implementation of projects concerning preparation, including infrastructure development, of investment areas.
The grants are awarded as part of the grant project entitled “Invest in Pomerania 2020”, implemented by Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza S.A. in line with Measure 2.5. External investors, Priority Axis 2. Enterprise, Regional Operational Programme of Pomeranian Voivodeship for 2014-2020.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Deadline for submission of applications
Applications should be submitted from 07.10.2019 until further notice (ongoing call until the funds have been exhausted).

Applications should be submitted to the seat of Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza S.A., Monday to Friday from 8.00 AM to 3.00 PM or sent to the address:

Manner of submission of applications
A signed application form with necessary attachments should be submitted to Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza S.A. in person or sent to the address indicated above.
The date of receipt of the document by ARP S.A. is considered the date of submission of the application. Applications received before or after the deadline will not be considered and will be sent back to the sender.
Detailed rules for submitting grant applications are specified in item 10 of the Terms and Conditions of the competition.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE CAN APPLICATIONS BE SUBMITTED AND BY WHOM?
The programme covers two types of projects.
Type 1 – A project involving preparation of new investment areas by the applicant being an entrepreneur from the SME sector for its own purposes. In such a project, the applicant’s objective is e.g. to develop land and build a plant or warehouse on it, in which the applicant plans to conduct business activity described in the grant application.
Type 2 – A project involving preparation of new investment areas and their development (through sale, lease, rental of land, buildings or storage yards located on the land). In such a project, the aim of the applicant after preparation of the investment areas is their commercialisation for the benefit of a third party, which is an entrepreneur from the SME sector, in line with the principles specified in the Terms and Conditions. The commercialisation referred to above should take place by 31.12.2021.
Entities entitled to lodge an application are:
– under type 1 projects – entrepreneurs from the SME sector;
– under type 2 projects – entrepreneurs from outside the SME sector (large enterprises) and local government units.
What areas can grants be awarded for?
A single investment area must meet the following requirements:
- its area must be at least 1.25 ha;
- it must be located entirely on the territory of Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Tri-City Metropolitan Area or in municipalities situated along regional transport corridors indicated in the spatial development plan of Pomeranian Voivodeship (a list of municipalities can be found in Attachment No. 7 to these T&Cs);
- in accordance with the provisions of the local spatial development plan or other equivalent document referred to in Article 4(2) of the Act on Planning and Spatial Development of 27 March 2003 (consolidated text, Journal of Laws of 2018, No. 1945, as amended), the land should be a site for production facilities, warehouses, storage facilities.
What can a grant be awarded for?
The competition covers projects involving preparation of investment areas (excluding residential functions) for the needs of production (including industrial) and storage activity of entrepreneurs from the SME sector. Within the scope of land preparation, it is allowed, among others, to develop land with facilities, to build or expand facilities or storage yards. As a result of a single project, it is expected that the entire prepared area will be developed by entrepreneurs from the SME sector.

Project selection criteria
Project selection criteria are included in Appendix 5 to the Terms and Conditions of the competition.
FINANCE
ARP S.A. has allocated PLN 10,400,000 for the competition.
The maximum allowable grant amount for a project is PLN 800,000.
The minimum amount of eligible costs of a project is PLN 1,600,000.00.
