Scandinavian companies want to be visible in the Tri-City. On December 11th, Scandinavian IT night took place in the Sopot Sheraton. During an event, participants could find out what Nordic companies are into and they listened to Stefan Hyttfors – an international speaker and futurist.
An event was co-organized by Arla,
Representatives of each company had 90 seconds to talk about their company and encourage developers to consider it as a future employer. In addition to the presentation, companies chatted with the participants at the stands located at the foyer of the Sheraton Hotel.
Stefan Hyttfors spoke about the social, economic and ecological consequences of technological advancement. Using examples such as Waymo autonomous cars, or Amazon Go automated stores, Hyttfors discussed the rapid twists on the markets known as “disruptions” and outlined possible variants of the future. His speech certainly helped to orient oneself between the processes that are transforming the world before our eyes.
