2nd edition of Baltic Sea Business Mixer was organized in Gdynia

The 2nd annual Baltic Sea Business Mixer, an evening of networking with top execs from the Baltic Sea region of Pomorskie, and the leading cities of Gdansk and Gdynia, was a great success, attracting more than 100 top execs from a wide range of fast-growing sectors.

Hosted in the historic and unique Emigration Museum in Gdynia, speakers included Cameron Thorpe, the new CEO of DCT Gdansk, Alex Ticehurst of State Street, Monika Plocke of Nordea Bank AB, IT Division, Aleksandra Czerwinska of DNV, and Michal Koscianek of WNS. Guests viewed a short video about the making of “Loving Vincent”, the first fully-animated feature film produced in Gdansk by 120 painters.

Strong support for this year’s Baltic Sea Business Mixer came inter alia from the City of Gdynia and Invest in Pomerania.

“The idea and mission behind the Invest in Pomerania initiative is developing and highlighting the investment attractiveness of the Pomeranian region. Events such as the Baltic Sea Business Mixer are valuable and unique among other business activities- they bring together professionals representing a variety of sectors, whose common denominator and the reason for joining is the economic (and often emotional) bond to our region. During this meeting guests can not only do valuable networking, but also learn more about the trends and events in other areas of our region’s economy. This knowledge helps to keep in touch with the ‘pulse’ of business environment” – said Marcin Grzegory, Deputy director of Invest in Pomerania.
