Goyello among laureates of „Pomeranian Employer of the Year 2016”

Goyello, a company operating in Gdańsk is one of the medium-size enterprise laureates of the “Pomeranian Employer of the Year” competition, organized by the Employers of Pomerania association.

The 7th edition of the competition ended last Friday. It was the first time that Goyello, a Polish-Dutch IT company that has been operating in Gdańsk for over 10 years took part in it. Its competitors were local companies that employ 51-250 people.

„We often hear that what distinguishes us from the competition is our unique organizational culture. The culture we are talking about is a quite difficult to define mix of Polish and Dutch components, a mix we have been working on over the last 10 years. The basic ingredients of that mixture are for sure the fact that we deeply care about good relations, our readiness to cooperate and share knowledge and experience and that we always make sure we deliver top quality products. Goyello is not only a workplace. It is also a place where people have fun, gain knowledge and new skills, relax and do sports. As an employer, we do our best to provide our people with all these things in large quantities so that they can be not only satisfied members of the team but also satisfied and happy people,” Katarzyna Szemro, Marketing Director at Goyello, said.

With a team of over 100, working in 3 offices –  Gdańsk, Koszalin and the Netherlands – the company delivers complex business consultancy and IT solutions developed in line with Agile philosophy. It has already completed over 600 projects for clients in Europe and the United States. In November 2016 Goyello celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The jury of the competition organized by the Employers of Pomerania association awards local companies that not only obtain good economic results but also care about positive work environment and are interested in unlocking their employees’ potential. The awards are given in three categories: small, medium-size and large enterprise.

Among the finalists and laureates of this year’s edition there were companies that operate in accordance with best CSR practices and have adopted a friendly attitude towards its employees. Moreover, the jury acknowledged the participants’ achievements in supporting the region’s economic development.
