New RelyOn Training Center Now Open

RelyOn, an international provider of training and consulting services in occupational safety for the offshore, maritime, and energy sectors, has launched operations at its new location between July and August. The new training center — featuring a professional training pool and soon to be certified by OPTIO — strengthens the competencies of Poland’s offshore and renewable energy sectors.

Located conveniently near the Tri-City bypass, the state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a professional training pool, enabling comprehensive courses in maritime safety, evacuation procedures, and offshore operations. It will serve clients not only from Poland but also from across the Baltic and North Sea regions.

The Highest Level of Certification

This will be the first training center in the Tri-City area to obtain OPTIO certification — an international accreditation and standardization system for educational programs in the maritime and energy industries. The OPTIO certificate confirms full compliance with global standards in safety, training quality, and infrastructure.

The opening of this new center marks another step in the development of our services and a response to the growing market demand for highly qualified specialists working in offshore environments – said Witold Szczepkowski from RelyOn. Our goal is to provide trainees with practical, realistic conditions that reflect the true challenges of working at sea.

High Voltage Training

By the end of the year, the center’s offer will also include High Voltage training, covering safe work practices with high-voltage systems in maritime and industrial installations. The program has been developed in accordance with international standards and in consultation with partners from the offshore wind and energy sectors.

– Poland is rapidly developing its offshore wind energy infrastructure, and we need a skilled workforce ready to operate in the most demanding conditions. RelyOn supports this growth by providing training tailored to the real needs of investors and operators in the renewable energy sector – emphasized Mikołaj Trunin, Deputy Director of Invest in Pomerania.

RelyOn’s new investment is part of a broader trend of building a strong competence base to support the energy transition in the Baltic Sea region. The growing network of training centers, laboratories, and research institutions strengthens Pomerania’s position as a key offshore hub in Central Europe — while enhancing the global competitiveness of Polish companies in the maritime and renewable energy sectors.
