On January 31 during the Outsourcing Stars Gala, the best and the most dynamically developing companies of Business Services Sector and theirs supporting institutions have been awarded with Outsourcing Stars. SII was awarded in the IT Contracting category. Scott Newman, managing director of Polish branch of State Street company, received the title of the Manager of the Year for dynamic development in Poland and in Tri-City where company employs already 700 people. Tri-City was nominated in City category. The award for the most dynamically developing city went to Poznan. Congratulations!
It was already the 4th edition of Outsourcing Stars Gala – the project of Pro Progressio foundation. Guests from around the world participated in this great event in Lublin. There were 12 Outsourcing Categories: Document Archiving; BPO; Call/Contact Centre; Car Fleet Management; Developer; Employees HR/Leasing; HR/Recruitment; IT Contracting; F&A, Personnel, Payroll; City; Outsourcing of Sales; Real Estate Consulting.
This year’s Gala was preceded by the BSS Forum. 300 guests representing Polish and foreign companies of BSS sector and institutions of the public sector participated in the conference. Current trends, challenges and opportunities facing the business and its surroundings was discussed during the meeting. Participants had a chance to discuss the following topics: Global Business Support Services market – yesterday, today, tomorrow; HR as main pillar of BSS industry; Challenges and changes in F&A services; City as a product.
