Pomerania offers investors subsidies from the European Funds.
The European Funds are available via national and regional programs.
Pomerania can offer investors support in the form of subsidies from the European Funds under its Regional Operational Program (ROP). According to the provisions of the ROP, Pomeranian entrepreneurs representing the SME sector can apply for funding under two priority axes – Priority axis 1. – Commercialization of knowledge and Priority axis 2. – Enterprises.
The first of these aims to stimulate enterprises’ investments in innovative solutions and the implementation of these solutions. Under the second axis, co-financing from the EU funds is available for investments and solutions that reduce: water, raw material, transport and energy consuming production, as well as activities supporting digital technologies and promoting export activity.
Large entrepreneurs who are part of the National Intelligent Specializations program can obtain subsidies under the Smart Growth Operational Programme. R&D projects will be also supported.

Governmental grants
The Polish government offers grants to investors who create jobs and invest in fixed assets. Governmental grants are intended for entities investing in the automotive, electronics, aviation, business services, research and biotechnology. The basis for granting support is an agreement between the Ministry of Economy and an investor, and a resolution of the Council of Ministers allowing for the disbursement of funds.
