Pomorskie is the leading cluster for electronics production in Poland. The sector currently employs approx. 20,000 people. The largest global companies in the industry –such as Flex, Jabil, Lacroix Electronics, Aptiv, AQ Wiring Systems – have invested here and carried out significant reinvestments.
Elctronics production has deep roots in the region. The first large electronics manufacturer located in Pomerania was Radmor. RADMOR S.A. is the largest manufacturer of mobile VHF/UHF radiocommunication equipment in Poland and offers services from network design to delivery, manufacturing and servicing of equipment. In the last 20 years in the vicinity of Tczew and Kwidzyn, a number of other large enterprises representing mainly foreign capital have established their operations. Flex, Lacroix, Jabil, Panlink Poland, Gemalto, Gerdins Cable Systems, Orbit One should be named. Among the investors are also companies with domestic capital (such as Siled, Assel).
Most recent investments in the sector have been re-investments by the companies already established in Pomerania – including Flex, Lacroix or AQ Wiring – that Invest in Pomerania has supported.
