The Tricity agglomeration has been awarded the title of the fastest growing city in the modern business services sector. The award received at the 10th Outsourcing Stars gala is the third consecutive win for Tricity awarded by Pro Progressio – the organiser of The BSS Forum.
The dynamic development of the Tricity sub-region, its convenient location, developed infrastructure and highly qualified employees are all factors that position Tricity as an attractive place for the development of investments in the modern business services sector. There are currently more than 185 business service centres operating in the metropolis, employing around 36,000 people. Their offices occupy a total area of more than 1 million m2. These and other key factors are components of the algorithm that determined the winner in this category.
The BSS market in the Tricity continues to grow and Slupsk is joining in
In addition to software development, IT helpdesk, finance and accounting services, the Tricity BSS centres also offer AI-supported solutions, financial cyber security and technologies supporting intermodal transport. Slupsk has also appeared on the BSS map of the voivodeship in recent months thanks to joint work with partner of Invest in Pomerania, the Slupsk Special Economic Zone.
– We are pleased with the distinction received by Tricity, as it confirms the success not only of the metropolis, but also the sustainable development of the entire region. It was a fruitful and full of work year for us, which resulted in further investments and reinvestments and, naturally, many new, attractive jobs – says Mieczysław Struk, Marshall of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The dynamic development of the industry is evidenced by the fact that Pomeranian BSS centres are still recruiting for specialists in the field of finance, IT, customer service, HR, marketing or logistics. Proof of the maturity of this sector in the Pomeranian Voivodeship is also provided by the awards granted to our regional partners: Łukasz Olechnowicz in the Manager of the Year category, TORUS in the Developer category, Infopulse Poland in the IT category, CBRE Poland in the Real Estate category, ManpowerGroup in the HR Permanent Recruitment category.
