For the second time, Tri-city has been chosen the most dynamically developing city in the business services sector. This great news was announced on the Annual CEE shared services and Outsourcing Awards Gala in Warsaw. According to the jury, the Tri-city’s metropolitan area not only attracts more investment projects but also develops a range of services supported by local centers. It means a growth in the length and breadth indeed.
The CEE Awards gala gathers representatives of international outsourcing companies, local governments as well as specialists from the business services sector (BSS) from all over Central and Eastern Europe. The gala employs 25 trophies to widely appreciate good practices, including e.g. university-business cooperation, top robotics implementation and more. Tri-city has been awarded this award for the second consecutive time.
During 2017, Invest in Pomerania concluded 6 projects in the BSS sector, with 1400 added to the job pool in the region. Swarovsky, Ricoh, and Marine Harvest are three examples of new centers in Tri-city this year – says Wojciech Tyborowski, Invest in Pomerania director.
There are over 21 thousand people hired in the Tri-city business sector.Quality follows quantity here, since processes supported by centers advance as well.
