Dynatrace expands operations in Gdansk

International technology company Dynatrace has decided to continue expanding its office in Gdansk. On 19 September, it announced an increase of 150 new employees.

The furnishing of Dynatrace’s Gdansk office was completed in 2021. The space was carefully designed to foster creative work and integrate the local environment. Traditional open spaces were abandoned in favour of zones functionally divided according to the nature of the tasks performed. Plans to increase the workforce had already been forespoken back then. Now, on 19 September, the company has announced an increase in staff numbers. Currently, people are being sought for the positions of product managers, cloud experts, front-end engineers and JAVA engineers. 150 new employees are planned.

Currently, the IT industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of Pomerania’s economy. Cooperation with qualified specialists is the foundation of our success. I am convinced that the reinvestment of Dynatrace in Gdansk and the increase in employment by 150 new experts will contribute to building technological potential and strengthening the position of the region as a centre of advanced high-tech processes – says Mieczysław Struk, Marshall of Pomeranian Voivodeship.

About Dynatrace

Dynatrace is a global technology company specialising in the development of intelligent application performance management software. It offers a platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, providing solutions for application performance monitoring (APM) and monitoring of entire digital environments (DPM). In the APM/DPM segment, Dynatrace maintains its position as the undisputed leader, offering several products that can be installed together in a single platform or in different configurations and complement each other as required. These solutions enable the monitoring of end-user operations and control of all applications, whether on web browsers or mobile devices. By continuously collecting data from various components of modern applications and infrastructure, including cloud and enterprise technologies, the company provides comprehensive, precise performance information.

Dynatrace’s further development plans in Gdansk are proof that, despite the global shifts in IT markets, we remain an attractive environment for players of a high calibre and provide opportunities for further growth. The diversity and level of sophistication of the processes handled by the company’s team in the Tricity confirms that the Pomeranian technology ecosystem is diverse and competitive, and – most importantly – stable – comments Marcin Grzegory, Deputy Director, Invest in Pomerania.

Development of the Gdansk branch

The Tricity branch of the company has been growing dynamically in recent years. Currently, on four floors of the Platinum building in the Alchemia office complex in Gdansk, Dynatrace occupies 5.3 thousand m2. It is here, in the second largest R&D centre in the global company’s structures, that 350 qualified specialists work. It is worth noting that Dynatrace’s teams in Gdansk are fully self-sufficient, meaning that any roles needed to create a product are staffed on site.

Over the past two years, we have consistently delivered on our development plans. We have built a team of fantastic professionals, passionate about creating a valuable product – says Michał Bojko, Poland Lab Lead & R&D Development Director.
