Dapax, a company from Pomerania, will build a production hall in the commune of Człuchów in Pomorskie, thanks to funding under the “Invest in Pomerania 2020” grant competition

Thanks to EU funds, the commune of Człuchów will profit from a new furniture production plant.

Another company from Pomerania obtained funding as part of the “Invest in Pomerania 2020” grant competition. Dapax Polska produces furniture for individual orders. Thanks to the funds received, the company will build a new production plant located in Rychnowy in the commune of Człuchów. The competition is organised by the local government company Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza.

Operating since 2016, Dapax Polska, due to the high demand for its products, decided to build a new production hall. The company’s recipients are currently entities from the domestic market, including construction companies and individual customers who move into newly built apartments or houses. The company will be able to implement its development plans thanks to the investment grant it has just obtained.

 “Our mission is to strive to develop lasting relationships with clients who will recommend us to new potential recipients. This is the best way for us to build the company’s credibility and its positive image on the market. We believe that the funds received will translate into the quality of our offer and will be an important impulse for further development.” – says Mr. Dawid Papka, the owner of Dapax Polska.

As part of the project, the company will implement an investment planned for over PLN 2 million and create new jobs. In total, over 2 ha of new investment area will be subject to economic activation (1.5 ha as part of the Project and 0.5 ha as part of the Applicant’s own activity).

The “Invest in Pomerania 2020” competition aimed at supporting the SME sector in the region is very popular among entrepreneurs. The funds have already supported Pomeranian companies from the e-commerce, construction, transport and energy industries, and the latest grant agreement with Dapax Polska will contribute to the development of the furniture industry. The implemented investments are not only for the benefit of specific companies but also for building a competitive advantage for the economy of the entire region. ” – summarizes Maciej Silarski, project manager of Invest in Pomerania 2020

In the “Invest in Pomerania 2020” competition, the grantee may be a representative of the micro, small and medium-sized enterprises sector from the Pomeranian Voivodeship, who submits an investment project implemented on an area of ​​at least 1.25 ha. Only projects with eligible costs exceeding 1.6 million PLN  are taken into account. Entrepreneurs can obtain up to 800,000 PLN for their implementation. The Management Board of the Pomeranian Development Agency has already decided to support projects for a total amount of PLN 13.6 million.

So far, ARP has accepted 22 grant applications, and entrepreneurs have decided to invest a total of over PLN 76 million. The competition is carried out until the allocation is exhausted , and it is still possible to enter the reserve list.
